Head Coach
Ajit Korgaokar
Originally from West Sussex, England Ajit has been involved in coaching youth soccer for over 20 years. As a player, Ajit played for semi-professional teams in England and also played for representative sides in Sydney, Australia. He also played professionally for the Orlando Lions in the ASL and the Denver Thunder in the NPSL. Ajit also spent several years with the Colorado Comets indoor and outdoor teams in the USISL before moving into full-time coaching. A former four year scholarship player at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL, Ajit has coached at all levels of the game. Ajit was a former assistant coach at Rollins College and Vanderbilt University and has also worked with the men's soccer program at Belmont University. In addition, Ajit was the head coach of the Clarksville Gunners in the PDL. Ajit has been involved in the ODP for nearly ten years with Tennessee and a short time with North Carolina, and was also the former State Director of Coaching for Tennessee. He has also been an instructor for USSF on state and national courses as well as an instructor for the NSCAA. After spending a short time as a Director of Coaching for Charlotte SC and as a coach in North Carolina's ODP, Ajit is now starting his second stint with TNFC as the boy's Director of Coaching.
Ajit hold the USSF A, NSCAA Premier and the NSCAA National Youth Diploma qualifications and has also completed the first part of his UEFA A license. Ajit will also be attending the inaugeral Director of Coaching Diploma course held by the NSCAA in October 2005.
